A marriage marks the inauguration of a new relation between a man and a woman who had been until recently unknown to each other. Thus, the married couple may be seen together in public and, if the marriage was not publicized, some people may have bad thoughts about them. With this in mind, it is important to make the marriage as public as possible – without going into overindulgence and wastefulness.
