“O Allah, nothing is easy except that which You have made easy. And You are the Only One Who can remove difficulties, so make this easy for me.”
Dua 2 – For Worry and Grief

O Allah, I am Your slave and the son of Your male slave and the son of your female slave. My forehead is in Your Hand ( you have control over me). I am subject to Your decree, and Your decision upon me is justice itself. I ask You by every name that is Yours by which You have named Yourself, or which You revealed in Your Book,or which You have taught any one of Your creation, or which You have kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that is with You, to make the Qur’an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the removal of my sorrow and the departure of my worries.
A man once came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: “ O Messenger of Allah, whoever is deprived of these words has been wronged.” The Prophet ﷺ replied by saying “ Yes. So say these words and teach them to others, for Allah will remove the grief of anyone who says it and seeks what is in it, and He will prolong their happiness.” [Sunan Abu Dawud]
The most important thing about this dua is, it’s connected to the Quranic recitation. So, if you’re to get tranquility by making this dua, Quran recitation is a must. This is how all your worries and griefs will go away.
And from personal experience, whenever I feel down, feel like nothing, I make this dua, and immediately after it, I recite the Quran. This dua never fails me.
Dua 3 – For Clearing Debts and Worry
Allahumma inni a’udhu bika min al-hammi wa-l-hazan, wa a’udhu bika min ‘ajzi wa-l-kasal, wa a’udhu bika min al-jubni wa-l-bukhl, wa a’udhu bika min ghalabati-d-dayni wa qahri-r-rijal.
O Allah, I seek Your protection from worries and grief. I seek Your protection from feebleness and laziness; I seek Your protection from cowardice and avarice; and I seek Your protection from the oppression of debts and the tyranny of men.
Abu Umamah said: “I did so, and Allah removed my worries and concerns and settled my debts.”
Dua 4 – For Dealing with Calamities
Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un. Allahumma-jurni fi musibati, wa akhlif li khairan minha
(We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return. O Allah! Compensate me in my affliction, recompense my loss and give me something better in exchange for it)
Whenever something goes wrong, not as I expect, I make this dua, and things seem to be pretty tolerable for me. Even if you lose something, make this dua from your heart, you may find it soon.

la ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minaz-zalimin
There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrong doers. [Surah Anbiya Verse 87]
This is the dua that pretty much all Muslims know about. Nabi Yunus (AS) made this dua when he was eaten by a whale, and couldn’t find any way out from the whale’s stomach. Then he made this dua, Allah SWT helped him, and made the whale vomit to let the Nabi (AS) out from its stomach.

O Ever-Living, O Self-sustaining and All-sustaining, by Your mercy I seek help; rectify all my affairs and do not leave me in charge of my affairs even for the blink of an eye.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “The supplication of the one who is in distress. [Narrated by Ahmad]

None has the right to be worshiped but Allah the Incomparably Great, the Compassionate. None has the right to be worshiped but Allah the Lord of the Mighty Throne. None has the right to be worshiped but Allah the Lord of the heavens, the Lord of the earth, and the Lord of the Honorable Throne. [Bukhari]
Apart from the above mentioned dua, you can make constant istighfar and durud. Istighfar is such a powerful dua for pretty much all problems and affairs.
Also, for blessing in your life, send as much durud as you can to the Prophet ﷺ. One hadith mentions that if someone sends durud one time, Allah SWT sends his blessing 10 times to that person.
- How do you make dua for something you want?
You can make salatul istikhara, and make the dua mentioned in the hadith. If the thing you want is good for you, Allah SWT will give it to you.
- What Can I say to make dua accepted?
Before you make dua, glorify Allah SWT, and then send durud to the Prophet ﷺ, and then make dua. It will increase the chances of getting your dua accepted.
- How do you pray for decision making?
For decision-making, you should pray salatul istikhara, and make the dua related to it. Istikhara prayer isn’t only limited to find a Muslim life partner.
- How can I get dua answered immediately?
If you make dua for guidance, and matters related to hereafter, your dua will most likely get answered immediately if you do things that require attaining what you want.
As for worldly matters, Allah may accept the dua or delay it or not accept in this world, you’ll get reward for it in the hereafter.
Let’s not forget, most things that fall upon us, are results of our actions. If you continuously sin, then you gotta stop sinning before you act upon dua to make things easy. It will increase the chance of accepting your prayer. Also, don’t forget to do things that will help attain things that you want through your supplications.
